Played it low key at the 13th gate tonight,
wore jeans and a t-shirt...
and cut out early.
Full in the swing of hell week and i need a break if i am to make it the full way.
Got home and put on the TV to enjoy Steel Magnolias and the Ya-Ya sisterhood.
it's a good Louisiana emotional end to today.

Well it's official
I have gotten sick this season of the 13th gate.
Usually i get sick the 3rd week, but i was out of town for that weekend this season,
so i get it on the 4th,
which sucks cause Hell week starts next Thursday and we will be working 10 days straight.
Ohh *whine* i feel like crap!
But you better believe i am going to be there tonight.
With my comfortable shoes and a jacket cause with a breeze outside it if freaking cold!

1:38 am - NYC good times
|
So my short trip to new york comes to an end tomorrow morning.
I am flying back to new orleans with no forseeable way to get to metairie other than perhaps a cab ride... booo...
But I had a good time here none the less.
I saw Mamma Mia,
wanted to see avenue Q but couldn't quite convince my parents of that one.
I feel like crap due to eating out all weekend and can't wait to get back to eating healthy food.
The wedding was super extravagent, and actually a great time.
I guess since the groom is such a cool dude, all of his friends are as well...
For the most part, there is always the bad apple and they always seem to find me.
My feet hurt and i Drank more than i have in months.
I got to hang out with Sarah O which is very cool.
Aaron was there as well.
glad i got to know him some too.
Well i am off to sleep or to attempt to not stay awake anyway...
If anyone who lives in new orleans or metairie or whereever can possibly give me a ride tomorrow after 4pm respond and let me know if you can!

So i have finally found a place to live.
I filled out the application today and gave them my money.
So i move in on the 30th of this month.
And i am sending out a general call for help to move.
I know it is labor day weekend,
but any amount of help will be greatly appreciated.
2 stages,
putting the stuff in the truck in new orleans,
and taking the stuff out of the truck in baton rouge.
will make dinner for anyone who helps!
Even if you just help a little!

everyone says... OMG 39 dollars a night for a hotel on the beach...
that is great!
and then when it comes down to it... no one wants to go.

puppy is doing well,
she is very energetic now... but only for about 10 minutes then she gets sleepy.
she is adorable.
i still wonder how big she will get.
if anyone wants to come meet my puppy (named cherry)
or hang out
or do any kind of painting on a huge canvas
both wed and thursday of this week is when the painting is occuring,
from about 430 to 10pm (cause unfortunately i have to work overnight both nights.)
anyone reading is welcome.
and everyone they know are too.
hehe.

so my first shift of MOD, (manager on duty) at the hotel.
10-6.
mind you i got off of work at 11 pm last night.
and the weekends are when i get used to staying up late nights so that i can work the night audit shifts.
so i didn't get to sleep last night till around 6
then i don't hear my alarm.
so my first shift as a manager starts off late.
then...
the 3-11 person just doesn't show up.
no call no show.
he should be fired.
he is at least 3 hours and 18 minutes late for his shift.
so luckily the 11pm-7 person is going to come in a 8pm, cause i need to go home and take a freaking nap!
